Selecting first rate employees to work in your organisation is a vital part of achieving success in business. Why use pre-employment psychometric or psychological evaluation?
There is unequivocal research validating relevant ability testing as the most effective way of predicting whether a candidate will succeed in any given role; its predictive power is well ahead of behavioural interviewing techniques or relying on reference checks, which in themselves can be notoriously misleading.
Drawing on intuition or “gut feel” to select employees falls to the bottom of the pack as a selection tool, being the least reliable selection method of all.
